For the past week, I've been living off of veggies and fruits, and it's been an challenging task. Physically, I feel great after having cut out sugar, wheat, dairy, caffeine, chocolate, alcohol, and meat. A lot of effort and time has gone into planning and preparing meals, more than I thought it would take, and it feels like my diet has taken over my life somewhat.
On the other hand, I do see a difference, and I do feel a difference. Doing this detox diet, has changed my outlook on food and brought to light that I truly am what I eat. It's gotten me thinking about how I could incorporate the detox mindset into my life.
